Same plot, same car crash with female driver running away from husband with child in car, but that book was published in 1995. I remember the year because I purchased it in S. Korea while stationed there with the Air Force. I hope this is not a re-issue trying to pass as new. I will buy it, but will ask for money back if that turns out to be the case.

This story started out strong then seemed to beat the proverbial dead horse. As if the author had been given instructions to stretch the story out 5 extra chapters. Also, do the story lines have to be about the absolute worse situation a child can possibly be put in and live through? Can’t a story be compelling without graphic abuse?

Sounds Familiar

Have not purchased book yet and I hesitate to do so because it sounds eerily familiar. Same plot, same car crash with female driver running away from husband with child in car, but that book was published in 1995. I remember the year because I purchased it in S. Korea while stationed there with the Air Force. I hope this is not a re-issue trying to pass as new. I will buy it, but will ask for money back if that turns out to be the case.
